I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to share some personal news and an important update regarding the Deer Creek Homeowners Association Board. I have recently accepted a significant promotion that will require my relocation to Georgia. This opportunity represents a major step forward in my career, and I am both excited and grateful for the path ahead. Additionally, my husband has also relocated due to a recent promotion, making this transition a shared and meaningful one for our family.
As a result, I will be stepping down from my role as President of the Deer Creek Homeowners Association. However, please rest assured that this change will not be immediate. I remain committed to ensuring a smooth and thoughtful transition, and our Board remains fully intact, engaged, and operational during this time.
To maintain the strength and continuity of our leadership within the Deer Creek Homeowners Association, we are now opening a two-week solicitation period for community members who are interested in volunteering to serve as the next President of the Board. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Deer Creek homeowners to contribute to the continued growth and well-being of our neighborhood. If you or someone you know is interested, we encourage you to reach out and express your interest.
It has been an honor to serve this community, and I am deeply proud of all that we have accomplished together as part of the Elbert County Homeowners Association. I look forward to supporting the Board through this transition and ensuring that Deer Creek Farm continues to thrive. An email will follow.

2025 Annual Meeting on April 11 from 6-8pm was held at Singing Hills Elementary.

We discussed the results of the informal survey sent to all members of the Deer Creek Home Owners Association to gauge interest in possibly changing some covenants.

The Deer Creek Homeowners Association is created to be of service to the community and its members. The directors do not govern over the Deer Creek homeowners, but simply respond to their needs and concerns. The board will make itself available to assure compliance with the covenants and bylaws. It is the goal of the Deer Creek Homeowners Association board to support property values, provide added value to the homeowner members, be a uniting force within the neighborhood, offer a channel of communications among members, and maximize the value of the association to bring benefits to Elbert County homeowners.

ANNUAL MEETING 2025 - April 11: The Deer Creek Home Owners Association held its Annual Meeting for the deer creek homeowners at Singing Hills Elementary from 6-8 pm. Meeting minutes are posted for all members of the Deer Creek Homeowners Association to review.
HOA POLICIES UPDATE: The website for the Elbert County Homeowners Association has been updated with the revised HOA policies. These updates were necessary to comply with recent Colorado laws affecting HOAs.
